These reviews are just my personal reviews, I have no real professional background as a review writer or even as any type of writing for that matter, I just know MMO's and I call it how I see it. For those of you who I may offend with cross words of your game of choice I apologize, it is not my intention to piss of it is just my intention to give reviews on games I have played and my impressions. I would invite everyone to check out each game for themselves as I have because not everyone has the same tastes. With my disclaimer out of the way I present you with my list of impression...
Global agenda not only hits the nail on the head, but it drives it home with the sleek graphics and cool storyline. I found myself wanting to play this game for long periods of time and before I knew it I was level 15.
Moving on to the classes I picked the medic my first go round, due to what I figured would be its survivability. I can take a beating, heal myself up, and simply outlast whatever is trying to kill me most of the time. The medic is not without its fair share of deaths but after previewing the other classes I can safely say that for me it's the easiest class to solo with.
Now just to bring this to light, to any of you have never played GA (Global Agenda), this game is not about the sacred trinity. All classes can bring it, some better than others, and even furthermore in different ways. So when I talk about a medic I don't want to you thing its some puny piss ant toon that can't do anything but heal, as this is far from the truth.
The way all of the classes work is based on an FPS style inventory. You have three weapons (As a medic you have two since one of your guns is for healing / buffing, etc.), and these three weapon can be scrolled through for the situation that they best meet the demand. On top of the three weapons you have, you also have a three off hands (Special abilities, grenades, AOE, etc.) and a boost item slot. The boost item slot works a lot like a combo meter special move. The boost ability can only be used when you have built up enough morale to use it. Morale is built up from killing mobs and and completing missions etc. last but not least you have a JET PACK! Yes a real jet pack, that allows you to fly. Now when I say jet pack your probably thinking, "meh it's probably hard to steer, very un-intuitive and just all around clunky" but on the contrary it is quite possibly one of the best and most used features in the game. For those of you familiar with the mount system in other MMO's you will likely not understand this fully until you try it and all I can say is give it a try . The Jet pack is used as a tool as well as a means of travel. It works on the same energy system that your primary three weapons work off of and you can only shoot while flying "on the fall" meaning if your using the jet pack and it's consuming resources, you cannot shoot your primary weapon, but if you let go of the space bar (holding the space bar activates the jet pack), you can scope in and fire away, but be careful as not to use all of your resources because you can die from fall damage. Flying is and always will be an integral part of Global Agenda.
Last but not least I'm just going to link the information posted on the Global Agenda website about the new F2P model. I will say this though, the F2P model has absolutely no advantages as far as combat goes for pay players vs. free players.
